As I reflect on my last day in the clinic before a brief pause for surgery and healing, my heart is filled with a mix of emotions. Saying goodbye to the families I adore and the work I'm passionate about is bittersweet. The exhaustion is real, but so is the love I have for being a midwife.

On that poignant day, a rainbow graced the sky, serving as a powerful symbol. It reminded me that just like the spectrum of colors in a rainbow, my journey through breast cancer will bring various experiences. I'll grow, change, and eventually find myself in a different place.

I've been wrestling with fear and reluctance about undergoing general anesthesia, spending days dreading and shedding tears. But when I saw that rainbow, I felt a reassurance from a higher power. It whispered to me to trust, that I would be alright.

As I entered the hospital, anxiety about pain lingered, but a newfound ease about going under took over. Trust, though not new, found a renewed strength in my faith.

To my dear clients, I want you to know that this pause is temporary. I'll be back, ready to continue providing care and support on your unique journeys. Despite the challenges, my commitment to you remains unwavering. This is not goodbye, but a brief intermission. We'll navigate through this, and I'll be back stronger than ever.

Thank you for your understanding and support. Here's to resilience, faith, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow. 🌟
